Abri(48)

Everything was happening so quickly I could barely understand what was going on. I sat in the car while waiting for Malcolm and the others. We were going to go to the airport and fly to England. How we ever managed to get tickets this fast I would never know. I always wanted to go to England, but with different intentions. I wondered if my parents were in England. They told me that they were planning on going there.. I laughed to myself what would happen if I saw them? How would I explain that I left school to go searching for the devil? They'd think I was nuts!

A knock on the window made me jump. It was Raphael standing at the car. I opened the door and got out. "I thought you'd left with your brothers." I  said

He shrugged "I prefer to travel alone. I had to talk to about your dreams."

"Oh..." I had been having the same dreams the past week. The one's were Lucifer would always come to bargain with me. I tried to ignore him but he wouldn't go away. It was the same every night and I haven't told anyone about them. Everyone has enough on their hands at the moment.

"Abrianna you have to promise me you won't agree to anything he says." Raphael continued placing his hands on my shoulders "The more powerful he grows the more he will come after you. I will do all I can to help you, but Lucifer is much stronger than I. No matter what he offers you Abrianna do not considerate. He never kept promises."

I nodded in reply looking towards the others who were arguing about something.

He removed his hands and said "I will see you in England. I'll be watching over you." He then turned around and walked away. He stopped suddenly and turned his head towards me "Oh and Abri, be careful." He then disappeared into the thin air. I would never get used to this stuff.

I decided to go to the others to see what was taking so long. "Why don't we just transport there?" Clement yelled at Layla

"Because that would use too much energy and we never know when we're going to need it!" She replied equally as loud

"This is stupid! It would take too long to fly there!"

Layla's face began to red "Clement I am in charge! I decide what we do! We can't take the risk in transporting that far!"

I saw Eve try to reason with Clement but he only ignored her. "My god you are stupid!"

Layla began to go after him but Orchid and Zoe grabbed her arms. Malcolm and Eve tried to hold Clement back as well. I rolled my eyes I was getting really sick of all this fighting. So I did the unexpected, I walked in between the two arguing siblings "Knock it off the two of you! We have more important things to do then stand here and act like 5 year olds!"

Everyone stopped talking and stared at me. I shook my head and walked towards the car. When no one else came I turned "Well are we going or not?!"

They all looked at each other and nodded their heads. "Zoe and Orchid go with Malcolm and Abrianna, Eve and Clement come with me." Layla ordered

I heard Clement mumble something, I looked at him and glared at him. I wasn't in the mood for his attitude.~

I thought we'd never get to the plane on time. We got at the airport at 4 p.m and the plane left at 4:10 p.m. We grabbed our things and ran for the plane, Malcolm took my hand and lead me through the many people to keep up with Layla and the others. I had to ignore the dirty looks people were giving us as we pushed past them.

I could finally let out a sigh of relief though when we were finally on the plane. It was a good thing we all had pass ports or else we would have been in trouble. Since we barely got our tickets we were spread out on the plane. Eve and Clement chose to sit near each other, Layla sat alone towards the front and Zoe and Orchid sat by each other leaving Malcolm and I towards the back of the plane. To our luck  the people who were supposed to sit by us didn't make it. I sat next to the window seat.

"Please take your seats and fasten your seat belts." the flight attendant began demonstrating how to do it. I looked at Malcolm who seemed to me having trouble.

"Do you need help?" I laughed

"No," he replied stubbornly

I rolled my eyes and leaned over him and easily buckled it. "Thanks." he mumbled

"Any time." I replied looking back out the window

My eyes began to droop as we started to take off and I soon fell asleep.

"Welcome back Abrianna." a terribly familiar voice greeted

"Get out of my head." I warned

"Or what? You'll use your little Pureblood powers on me?"

I glared at him "I'm not going to agree with anything you say. You are a liar and a murderer."

He looked at me with a fake pouty face "Oh dear, you really hurt my feelings."

"Why don't you just leave me alone? I'm never going to agree with anything you say to me."

"Don't be so confident Abrianna, I have my ways of changing your mind." he replied with a grin

"No,"

Abrianna wake up now! Raphael's voice yelled

I'm trying! He's too strong I replied

"Do tell  my brother I can't wait to see him soon." Lucifer said with a chuckle

Raphael cursed.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled

"Oh someone's getting mad now." he replied mockingly

"I said, leave, me, alone!" I screamed. A white light then emerged, surrounding us. I saw Lucifer fall to his knees and cry out in pain. When the light disappeared Lucifer looked up at me "This wont be the last you see of me girl."

I opened my eyes and found myself leaning on Malcolm. I sat up quickly and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I looked out the window and saw is becoming dark. "Did you sleep well?" Malcolm asked moving his shoulder

"Okay I guess. How long was I asleep?"

"Almost three hours." he replied "A long three hours too, my shoulder had completely fallen asleep."

How could I have been asleep that long? It felt like only minutes had gone by. "You could have woken me up." I said

He shook his head "I wanted you to rest. Who knows the next time we'll get to sleep."

"What will happen after all of this is over?" I asked looking into his blue eyes

"I don't know." he replied "If we don't get to Lucas in time and Lucifer is freed we'll have mass chaos and life as we know it will be destroyed."

"And if we do get there in time and we do stop Lucifer from escaping?"

"Everything goes on as it once did..." he replied looking away

I almost didn't say it but I did "What about us?..."

"Abri...."

"Never mind. I shouldn't have asked." I said quickly unbuckling my seat belt

As I stood up he grabbed my hand. I felt a spark go up through my arm kind of like when put his hand on me before in the car. Malcolm acted as if he felt it too. "Will you just sit down?" He asked "Please.."

I sighed and sat back down. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything. I know you and Eve had something together and it was too soon for me to say anything,"

"Abri," he said trying to interrupt me

I began to continue when Malcolm leaned over and placed his lips on mine. It was a moment that I couldn't describe. I hadn't felt this way about anyone since Trevor. As suddenly as it started though, it was over. We quickly pulled away from each other and looked away. I felt my face becoming red. "I um, I'll be right back." Malcolm said quickly getting up and walking away.

I leaned my head against the window and sighed. I shouldn't have said anything. I put my hand on my lips where Malcolm's had just been. I wish I knew what he was thinking. It was too soon for me to say anything. He still loved Eve and I could see it in his eyes. Every time he looked at her I could see his heart break a little more. I only wish I could help him see that he doesn't have to be alone forever.  I only want to be the one to fill his lonely heart.~
